Lucy was daughter of Edward SHERMAN, b: 1726 in Dartmouth, Bristol Co., MA 
and Lucia PETERSON. They married 21 Sep 1759. 

Source for marriage, and her birth, is the Middleborough, MA Vital Records.
 
Marriage to Job SHAW (int.) 12 Jan 1788 is recorded in the Rochester, MA 
Vital Records.
 
Lucia was a Mayflower Descendant, via her mother, Ruth DELANO - per a 
HATHAWAY Genealogy. I'll try to dig that connection out for you. Lucia was 
first married to Peleg HATHAWAY in 1748, and had two sons by him. She 
married Edward after Peleg's death.
